Rheometer Kapiler (Capillary Rheometer) adalah instrumen khusus yang digunakan untuk mengukur "sifat aliran bahan yang sangat kental", seperti polimer, dalam kondisi yang mensimulasikan operasi pemrosesan aktual (seperti ekstrusi atau pencetakan injeksi). Alat ini bekerja dengan memaksa bahan melalui cetakan kapiler yang sempit dalam kondisi terkendali dan menganalisis bagaimana alirannya.

Reometer kapiler adalah instrumen presisi tinggi yang digunakan untuk mengukur sifat aliran (reologi) bahan yang sangat kental, terutama lelehan polimer, tetapi juga karet, produk makanan, farmasi, pelapis, dan perekat. Alat ini menyediakan data penting untuk pengembangan material, kontrol kualitas, dan pengoptimalan parameter pemrosesan dalam operasi manufaktur seperti ekstrusi, pencetakan injeksi, dan pemintalan serat.

  • This tester evaluates the flow feature of molten plastic during the forming process. The molten test specimen inside the cylinder that is set at a specific temperature will be extruded from the capillary die. During the extrusion, the shear stress and the shear viscosity is detected to measure the melt viscosity of the test specimen. The tester is equipped with an automatic cleaning system which enables the operator to continuously run 1 test cycle (option of 3 test cycles). The tester can be chosen between the light load type and the heavy load type according to the test specimen’s maximum load.
