The Non-nuclear asphalt density gauge is directly proportional to the dielectric constant of the material being tested. In the case of a magnetic field generated by the sensing plate, the GTJ-2701 uses an innovative, spiral magnetic field to test the dielectric constant. The field signal is converted to a material density reading by the electronic components and displayed on the screen. Once the instrument is self-calibrated, we can get the density at once.
