These are riffl e-type sample splitters which divide dry materials such as cement, gravel, powdered ores, coal, coke, sand, soils, etc. Material poured into hopper is divided into two equal portions by two series of chutes that discharge alternately in opposite directions into separate pans. Made of stainless steel. Pans are made of stainless or cold-rolled steel . Scoop and cleaning brush are also included. One-Piece Splitter- Rugged, ideal for lab or fi eld applications. They allow for rapid, single-step reduction of large sample volumes. Two models are provided with "removable" stainless steel hoppers, which can be cleaned easily (LA-0451 and LA-0451-04). Enclosed Sample Splitters - Ideal for dusty samples. Supplied with two pans. (LA-0449 and LA-0450)
