UNIVERSAL SAMPLE SPLITTERS

Universal Sample Splitters are used to split material sizes from fi nes to 4 inches. They have adjustable chutes. Three different hopper sizes are available. A set of steel bars adjusts chutes to desired width. The bars are held together by wing nuts on the pivot rod ends. Hoppers have a lever release.

The FORNEY Floor Model Splitter is the most versatile. The chute openings can be adjusted fromone-half to 4 inches; it has a hopper capacity of 1 cu ft. Dimensions: 29 x 19 x 34½in (WDH).

The Porta Splitter's chute openings can be adjusted from one-half inch to 3 inches and has a .55 cu ft hopper capacity. Dimensions: 22 x 14½ x 20½ in. (WDH). The Mass Splitter can process large samples from one to 12 inches, and large particle sizes (up to 400 lb fi eld aggregate samples per ASTM D-75. It has two pans on each side to receive the split sample. Dimensions: 56 x 26 x 41 inches
